National Geographic Islander - Case study
HF has the experience and are able to help you schedule, plan, budget and carry out your specific required projects.
Having fully booked cruises, adequate maintenance can be almost impossible and therefore in the fall of 2014 we were onboard the National Geographic Islander for a short and successful yard period in Panama.
During the spring and summer all works were determined together with the client management.
HF worked out and presented design and cost proposals for upgrading crew quarters, Spa, self serving beverage area amongst other projects.
HF planned the whole interior project down in detail, made work shop drawings for manufacturing, purchased all needed materials and consumables etc and arranged specially required crew.
We made tests and visual inspections and kept control of the manufacturing until delivery.
We arranged the logistics for sending materials, goods and tools to Panama and finally our HF interior outfitting team arrived for a safe and efficient working period.
During these three weeks HF also carried out maintenance related projects such as carpet replacements, new wall coverings, insulation works, supply of new furniture and equipment etc.
